laugh If you will, but the Bible -God-is very clear about using natural forces (wind, breaking open the land-earthquake-famine,disease,etc) to move the people and God making his judgement. But, make no mistake this is not about magic.
It's evident people take things for granted in this world. God gives many gifts..the food on you table each day, the cool breeze on a summer night, the colorful sunset, the flower,good health which has no guarantee,even ones ability to think and love, the list goes on and on....yet we all fall short of the value of the Creator in all this through mocking, rejecting, disrespect Ever notice though, when the real crisis comes we all cry out for God to please stop the winds, or how can you let such an awful thing happen. Take the time to appreciate all the wonderful things our God has given us......perhaps he'll lessen the winds...

Just one question. Arnt hurricanes on the west coast classified as Typhones?

Scymore Cains: They are called Typhoons in the western Pacific and in the Indian Ocean, but they're still called hurricanes in the Eastern Pacific, including the US and Mexican West Coasts.

And in Australia and South Indian Ocean, these same vortices are called Cyclones. In fact the one that hit Burma a few months ago was indeed a Cyclone. Cyclone Larry was particularly devasting to the Top End of Australia several years ago.

Visnu, Belzeboob, and numerous other Evil Ones are omitted from the naming list.

Bah, you call those three a storm? They're named but they've got no game, only Dolly really is a threat and potentially not even a big one if people are smart and don't panic. I mean after all, that's the wonderful thing about hurricanes you've got time to prepare for them for the most part. Anyway, the point is that hopefully Dolly wont do much of anything besides rain and the rest are too far off the states to do much of notta. Especially in the east pacific, which is always very boring for the most part. Not that Baja couldn't have used the rain.

So yeah, don't panic, this hurricane season hasn't proved to be deadly yet, and there is no reason anyone should die from these three little storms if they've got their wits about them.
