I think everyone needs to keep an open mind to all of Earths mysteries... use the brain you got and like the good ole sponge it is, use it for increasing knowledge, not destroying your brain cells with beer and your local pharmacy drugs. you cant solve all of life's mysteries in a day and being skeptical is one thing, but being close minded is just plain ignorant. Do any of you kooks realize that accusing people of being "closed minded" to things that "might" exist or "probably do exist" or "definitely exist" is also an insult, yet you get so bent out of shape when people point out the blatant stupidity of those that argue about the existence of such a creature? The fact WE exist as humans and have thoughts and question our existence, is the reason why the existence of God is a valid debate. The existence of bigfoot is not, nor is that of the Loch Ness monster, nor is it sane to debate about the existence of elves and Santa Claus.

Someone mentioned earlier about the existence of God and Jesus and the proof - well, above explains the reason why people believe, simply because we exists and have the ability to, and since there are no answers. Most historians don't question if Jesus existed, but if he was the "son of God" is rightfully debated. Few argue that the man himself existed or didn't die on the cross. Believing in these things is far removed from debating about myths. If one of the most asked questions in history was about Bigfoot creating us, then yes, it would be more valid.

I don't think anyone's ever said that such a creature never existed or couldn't, but it's simply so unlikely that any exist in this day and age, that you'd have to be a serious kook to believe it. Of course, no kook will believe they are not thinking rationally, so they'll argue about how you're just "closed minded". Well, you're a crazy idiot, as evidenced by all of the mentally ill or blatant liars that claimed to have seen "big foot". I don't care what your drunk, mentally challenged redneck uncle told you what he saw, you're a moron for believing it. Just arguing that "anything is possible" is a stupid argument to make to support the existence of such a creature. Where's Paul Bunyan and Blue Ox? Those are tall tales as well as gnomes, gremlins, ghosts, aliens from other words, elves, trolls, dragons and so on.

Ironic and expected that people that claim to have seen bigfoot have also seen UFO's, don't you think? Hey, I know an habitual liar many years ago, that also claimed to have seen bigfoot. He also had a 10th degree blackbelt, was taught guitar by Randy Rhoads, caught a fight so large in a small river that it pulled his whole boat over, he could lift a 500 pound log over his head and so on. Hey, anything's possible, right? After all, you believe God exists, so you should believe this idiot's lies as well, right? Fact is, logic doesn't have to escape you simply because you have religious faith, and that's not a requirement either. Sadly, some people don't see the difference, but even more sad, is the people that actually believe this crap. No one can sue someone for a hoax that you were too damned stupid to know better (yes, that IS actually what it means - that you're STUPID - not because they were great fraudsters that pulled a fantastic lie off).

Now, how many stupid people will actually believe they are stupid? How many will admit that or say to themselves "Wow, I am dumb, I should maybe listen to what people smarter than me say? Oh wait, I don't have to think anymore! I just won the Euro-lottery from some dead African king's son that's in Nigeria of a lottery I never entered!" No way, those idiots will argue with you until the end of time, because no one likes accepting they are an idiot. You can claim it's closed mindedness, claim it's mean, claim you're right and the smart people are wrong, and so on, but the fact is that you're dumb. Finally, people from other countries talking about how stupid Americans are for believing in this story, well, few did and it's just as stupid to claim that ALL Americans believed in this story, or that ALL Americans support that kook Bush and his lie for going to war with Iraq. I don't know of a SINGLE person that ever believed that, nor do I know of a single person that believes in Bigfoot.

There are a lot of arrogant, smug, dumb people out there, and there are a lot of mentally ill, childish, stubborn and educated people out there, usually they are hand in hand. You can not reason with people like that, you likely will never get through, so this is all in vain. Do I think I'm smarter than the people I call idiots? You bet! I'm educated, intelligent and brutally honest. There's no reason to try and appease the morons in the crowd. Now that the facts have been outed, people still want to argue about how closed minded people are for "not agreeing with them". Well, that's not the rule or exception, and you have to come to terms that you're a friggin' moron. I thought this was humorous at first, but then the next day I did see the main article on CNN was about this stupid humor story. I have no idea where to go online for news stories anymore, but I've lost respect for CNN after all of this celebrity gossip crap, and then a story about bigfoot, while the Russia/Georgia conflict was 5 links down.
