Franko, look it the puzzle this way: You have no doubt entered a room and felt a disturbance that was caused by conflict. You may have been in a threatening situation and felt very uncomfortable, even to the point of leaving. The earth is no different. It is our home, and we ourselves, able to reflect the attributes of the Creator or the attributes of Chaos, make our environment.

Every city has neighborhoods no sensible person would enter after dark, perhaps not even in daylight. There are neghborhoods on earh - Iraq, Afganistan, and elsewhere, where you would not want your loved ones to dwell. As I choose to show love, patience, charity, good will, peace, I am showing you His image. Should someone show you hate, intolerance, prejudice, indifference, the environment around that person changes from good to evil. The earth merely reflects what humans demonstrate.

Callahan, why are you posting your dismissal of science on a science blog? Come to think of it, what are you doing with a computer? You and Franko are birds of a feather, both in the habit of posting bad jokes in place of actual discussion.

There’s a simple reason science doesn’t address God: by making a place for God within its scope, science would cease to have any meaning or relevance. If science is meaningless, then it more or less follows that computers are supernatural, probably inhabited by demons, and shouldn’t be touched by proper religious people.

Incidentally, water’s far from a bit player in weather phenomena, its part is actually second only to that of the sun itself. Without water, the atmosphere wouldn’t move around half as much as in real life.

Why do I post about God in a Science blog? Nice question.

Truth is, you would hae NO Science without God. All you study comes from God whether you are at the point of relization is another thing.

I personally respect the abilities of God, who IS the Greatest Scientist and already has the answers you seek. So is it really irony that one of faith would post in a Science blog? Not really, the two sometimes collide but there is also a point where the lines match and one can begin to see God’s influence in everything. It all goes back to heart where all thought really comes from.

From a personal standpoint, I love learning all I can about Science.

S. Callahan, I support you. Those who claim there is no God are like those who stand before a closed door and claim there is nothing on the other side. A true scientist would open the door and explore the area he cannot see because that closed door intervenes and blocks his view. Those who insist there is nothing on the other side and refuse to open the door, are like the blind teachers who purposely put out the eyes of their students, and the blind then lead the blind.

God is to be experienced. The scientific method applies to the search for His reality. But the scientists deny the experience as well as the application of the method because they are blind. Nevertheless, we must continue to offer the light. I did not always believe, and I am celebrating now that someone, in 1974, persistently and patiently continued to offer the light.

i believe this is the worst experiment. i hate the fact that scientists always feel they got to prove something about how the earth was created. be happy that you are here and stop trying to interfere with what is going on now…just because someone was wrong about a lawsuit does not mean they are wrong about everything. i really believe they should not follow through with this experiment.
